Me2MD - Terms of Service
Please read these Terms and Conditions (Ts&Cs) very carefully before browsing or using the www.Me2MD.com platform or availing of any service/s offered on the platform. If you continue to access this platform you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of these Ts&Cs read with the Privacy Policy at https://me2md.com/privacypolicy/ as well as any other terms, disclosures, policies which may be uploaded on this platform and constitute a legal agreement between you and Me2MD even if you are only browsing or visiting this platform. If you are not agreeable to be bound by the terms of these Ts&Cs read with the Privacy Policy, do not access/browse/use this platform. These Ts&Cs, read with the Privacy Policy, are electronic records as defined under the Electronic Transactions Act (Cap. 88) and do not require any signature.
These Ts&Cs contain the terms and conditions under which you are permitted to use the Me2MD platform and avail of the services provided thereunder. These Ts&Cs apply to all users browsing, visiting, accessing, and/or using this platform whether any services available on the platform are availed or not. These Ts&Cs apply as a whole and you understand that no terms or conditions stated herein can be modified before these Ts&Cs are accepted by you. The Agreement supersedes all oral and/or written terms and conditions (if any) communicated to you relating to the manner in which you can access, browse, use, register with the ME2MD platform.
The headings of the clauses of these Ts&Cs are for the sake of convenience only and might not accurately explain the contents of the clause. The clauses must be read as a whole to understand the true meaning thereof and the heading of the clause cannot be solely relied upon to interpret the clause. No interpretation can be assigned which is detrimental to Me2MD.
VertisPro Pte. Ltd is the author and publisher of the platform WWW.ME2MD.COM on the world wide web for providing various services related to the medical field.
“Agreement” The Terms and Conditions (Ts&Cs) read with the Privacy Policy as well as any other terms, disclosures, policies which may be uploaded on the Me2MD platform together constitutes the Agreement by which you agree to be bound.
“Me2Md” includes the management and the staff of VertisPro Pte. Ltd.
“Medical Emergency”: includes but is not limited to a sudden or acute injury and/or illness, which if not treated immediately could cause serious harm, injury, long-term illness or even death and requires immediate diagnosis and treatment of a person by a medical practitioner.
“Medical Practitioner”: All doctors whether a care giver or any person connected in any way with the medical field are hereinafter referred to as “medical practitioners”.
“Me2MD": is the platform on which the Services can accessed or used.
“Privacy Policy”: is the policy which governs the manner in which your information is collected, stored, used and protected by Me2MD.
“Platform”: refers to www.Me2MD.com
“Services”: means all the services provided by Me2MD to you on the platform including but not limited to (a) providing appointment booking services for a physical consultation with [medical practitioners], (b) providing a secure platform for virtual consultation with [medical practitioners] (c) providing list of available pharmacies (e) providing list of available laboratories.
“Ts&Cs": These Terms and Conditions
“Third Party”: Any party who is not you or Me2MD or a Medical Practitioner is a third party.
“VertisPro”: means VertisPro Pte. Ltd.
“You”: Users of the Services offered on the Me2MD platform as well as the visitors to the platform including but not limited to a patient or a representative of a patient or a General Practitioner are hereinafter referred to as “you”.
VertisPro reserves the right to revise, modify or alter any of the terms and conditions in these Ts&Cs without assigning reasons for the same. Such revisions, modifications and/or alterations shall be communicated to you either via email or sms and if you continue to use and/or access and/or browse the Platform thereafter, it will be presumed that you have read the revisions, modifications and/or alteration and have consented to such revision, modifications and/or alterations as the case may be. If this Agreement is modified, then the Agreement as per its modified terms will be applicable to you whether you are registered with ME2MD or a browser of the Platform.
Me2MD does not collect information of persons below the age of 18 years. In order to avail services, you must be 18 years of age or above and must be capable of entering into a contract for yourself under the provisions of the Singapore Contract Act (Cap. 53). If you have not attained the age of 18 years, do not try to access or use the services of the Me2MD Platform.
If you are using any of the Services on behalf of a person below 18 years of age i.e., a minor, you undertake that you are authorized to act on behalf of such minor as per applicable laws; to accept these Ts&Cs read with the Privacy Policy of Me2MD on behalf of her/him and consent to the same on behalf of her/him.
If you are a General Practitioner who is using the Services offered on the Platform to help your patient connect with a Medical Practitioner, you undertake that you are authorized to act on behalf of your patient as per applicable laws. You also undertake that you as well as your patient have read and accepted these Ts&Cs read with the Privacy Policy of Me2MD which constitutes the Agreement as defined under theese Ts&Cs and that you understand that in the event your patient decides to avail the Services, that she/he shall do so directly by accessing the Platform and providing their relevant information themselves.
These Ts&Cs are published in accordance with and are governed by applicable laws including but not limited to the following:
Me2MD provides a list of medical practitioners matching your medical needs and requirements. The profile of each of the medical practitioner will also be listed on its website including but not limited to details regarding qualifications, registration, the city in which the medical practitioner practices and the languages spoken by the medical practitioner. The entire list of medical practitioners which will be displayed on your screen will be in a random manner selected by the computer. You are free to book an appointment with any of the medical practitioners displayed on the website. Me2MD will assist in booking an appointment with the medical practitioner based on the availability of time slots and whether you desire a consultation in person or via videoconference or teleconference among other things.
Once an appointment is confirmed, details of the appointment will be sent to you via SMS, WhatsApp and/or email. On the date of the appointment, Me2MD will send you a reminder notification to assist you in making your appointment on time. You may reschedule an appointment confirmed by you up to 2 days prior to the scheduled time for the appointment. If you cancel an appointment within 24 hours of the appointment or fail to turn up for the appointment you will forfeit the amount paid by you to book the appointment. If you do not cancel a scheduled appointment yet fail to attend the scheduled appointment your account will be suspended for a period of 30 days. If you fail to appear for 2 consecutive appointments with a medical practitioner, your account will be terminated. If it is found that you have missed more than 5 appointments in a year, your account will be terminated, and you will not be permitted to create another account with the website. You are requested to reach the clinic or log in for the virtual conference in a timely manner. If the scheduled appointment is cancelled by the medical practitioner for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to being called out on a medical emergency of any other patient or user of this website, Me2MD will not be liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience caused to you for any reason whatsoever. At the highest, Me2MD will assist you in arranging for another appointment with the same or another medical practitioner based on available time slots, but Me2MD does not guarantee you an appointment. In the event another appointment cannot be arranged, or you do not wish to arrange for another appointment through the website, the amount paid by your for booking an appointment, if any, will be refunded to you.
At the time of the appointment, you may permit the medical practitioner to access your medical details and records stored by you in your account. After the first appointment with a medical practitioner your medical summary will be created in your account including but not limited to your prescription, line of treatment and medical history. After every subsequent appointment your case summary will be updated. In the event you require any clarification, or you find any discrepancy you may contact Me2MD within 15 days.
In the event that online consultations are availed instead of physical consultation then you understand that online consultation is not a substitute for physical consultation. There are limitations in the manner in which a doctor can treat a patient without physical examination. Therefore, it is essential that the information provided is accurate. The treatment you will receive depends on the accuracy of the information you provide. Me2MD will not be liable for any adverse consequences of incorrect information being shared by you with the medical practitioner. The Medical Practitioners might require patients to conduct tests and submit the reports online to the Medical practitioners to enable them to better treat you. You agree to share the same of your own free will and volition. Your further understand that the quality of a video-call or telecommunication depends on the signal provided by third parties and Me2MD cannot be held responsible in any way for any form of connectivity issues including but not limited to time-lag, call-break or any other disruption. In the event that a consultation is not completed due to any form of connectivity issues, Me2MD will endeavour to arrange for another appointment between you and the medical practitioner and if you choose not to avail of the facility and book a fresh appointment, Me2MD will refund any money paid by you, if any, towards that consultation.
Do not avail of the Services provided by ME2MD in the event of a Medical Emergency. Please consult a medical practitioner in person or call emergency medical services or visit a hospital immediately. The Services provided by Me2MD are not meant to be used in the event of a Medical Emergency.
For clarity, Me2MD shall not be liable for any Services availed by you on the Platform, in case of a Medical Emergency.
Me2MD reserves the right to restrict your use of the Platform or suspend and/or terminate the Services offered to you including in certain cases blocking your access to the Platform, in the event it is found that you have violated any of the terms and conditions contained in these Ts&Cs, Agreement and/or you have misused the Platform for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to uploading Trojans, viruses or any malware. Me2MD shall also have the right to delete any file uploaded by you on the Platform for which Me2MD, its management, employees and agents shall not be held responsible.
Me2MD will intimate to you the cause for restriction, suspension, or termination via email and/or SMS. Once your access to the Platform is terminated or suspended you will not be permitted to use the Services or access the data, files and other material uploaded by you on the Platform. In case of any grievance, you may contact the grievance officer whose contact details are given hereinbelow.
You will not deliberately or otherwise use this Platform in any way that is unlawful or harms Me2MD or any other user and/or Medical Practitioner. You are not permitted to misuse the data stored or the content displayed on the Platform or use the same for any illegal purpose including but not limited to alteration of the proprietary marks or data of Me2MD, notices, disclaimers, the Platform www.Me2MD.com itself. If you violate any of the terms of these Ts&Cs you can be denied access to the Platform either through a temporary suspended and/or permanent termination. Further, you will be liable to reimburse Me2MD for any expenses incurred by Me2MD to defend itself and indemnify Me2Md and hold it harmless against all claims which may be brought against Me2MD as a result of violations of any of these Ts&Cs.
The prescription, treatment, tests, care etc. offered by a Medical Practitioner to you is as per the information provided by you and it is your duty to ensure that the information provided by you is accurate and up to date and that you are authorized to provide the information on your behalf or on behalf of the patient. In addition to the information provided by you, the prescription, treatment, tests, care among others offered by the Medical Practitioner is as per his/her/their professional judgment and Me2MD shall not be liable for the same to you or to the Medical Practitioner.
If the Medical Practitioner suggests any medical tests be carried out or any prescriptions be availed of then the same can be availed of by you from any pharmacy or laboratory of your choice even though Me2MD may provide you a list of potential pharmacies and/or laboratories for your consideration. If required by you, Me2MD may suggest certain pharmacies or laboratories near by to your location to assist you or alternatively may recommend any online partner pharmacies but Me2MD is not responsible or liable for the services or medicines provided by them as the case may be. Me2MD is not responsible for ensuring that the medicines which are prescribed by a Medical Practitioner are received by you.
If you ask Me2MD to suggest any laboratory or pharmacy as the case may be, you consent to Me2Md sharing your personal information with such laboratory or pharmacy to the extent that you may avail of their respective services. However, Me2MD is not liable for the manner in which such third parties may use your personal information and you are advised to read their privacy policy before availing of any service offered by such third-party laboratory or pharmacy. If you avail of the services offered by such third parties, Me2MD is not liable for any harm, loss, injury, damage of any kind whatsoever which might be caused to you for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to receiving incorrect medication, receiving incorrect quantity of medication, non-delivery of medication, incorrect lab test results, cancellation of any appointment for collection of blood or urine samples and you acknowledge that you will not hold Me2MD or the Platform responsible in any manner whatsoever.
When medication is prescribed, you undertake to take the same in the manner prescribed by the Medical Practitioner. In the event any side effects are felt by you, you undertake to inform the Medical Practitioner immediately so that remedial action can be taken promptly. For clarity, such instances of side effects or types of reactions would be considered a Medical Emergency and hence you must not use the Services of the Platform to contact a Medical Practitioner. You consent that the Medical Practitioner from whom Services are availed in any manner whatsoever is/are alone responsible and liable for any act, omission, commission and/or negligence including but not limited to the line of treatment suggested, the medicines prescribed, care given. You further consent that Me2MD is not liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience caused in respect of any of the Services availed by you on the Platform and you will not make any claims on Me2MD for the same. The Me2MD Platform only provides a platform for you to find a Medical Practitioner who best suits your needs based on the information provided by you and the information provided by the Medical Practitioner to the Platform. You understand that Me2MD or the Platform does not treat you or provide any medical care or treatment, among other things, and that neither the Platform nor Me2MD are treating you or providing any medical services to you. You understand that at all times you must behave cordially with any Medical Practitioner or the staff of Me2MD failing which your access to the Platform may be be suspended and/or terminated by Me2MD.
You are not authorized to use the Platform for any illegal purpose including but not limited to antisocial behaviour, inciting violence, phishing, spamming, uploading any content which is illegal, inflammatory, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, libellous, actionable under any law or content which is protected by copyright, trademark or any other law or prohibited by any law of Singapore.
You understand that it is your duty to ensure that the information which is shared by you is accurate and provided by you in good faith and the consultation, prescriptions, line of treatment, medical advice and/or medical tests suggested by the Medical Practitioner are based on the information provided by you to the Medical Practitioner. You shall indemnify and hold Me2MD, its employees, management, agents, partners and the Platform harmless from any loss, damage, claims, demands or expense suffered or incurred by Me2MD due any reason whatsoever due to your actions including but not limited to non-compliance of any applicable laws of Singapore, disclosing incorrect information, representation, warranties, breach of any obligation, infringement of any intellectual property rights, manipulation of the Platform, hacking attempts, misuse of data of any other user or visitor of the Platform.
At times, based on the type of treatment required, a Medical Practitioner may require you to send pictures of yourself which are personal in nature and/or medical reports and other sensitive information. Your personal information which is shared with Me2Md is subject to the privacy policy and can be shared with Medical Practitioners and third parties in accordance with the Privacy Policy (https://me2md.com/privacypolicy/). Any personal information which you share with Me2MD or with any Medical Practitioner is out of your own free will and volition and at your sole risk.
Me2MD takes all reasonable precautions to protect the information shared by you via the Platform in accordance with the laws prevalent. However, it is not possible to guarantee 100% security of any data which is shared online. Me2MD or the Platform will not be liable for any harm/loss/injury/damage of whatsoever nature caused to you by unauthorized use of your information by any persons whom you have given access to your data and/or password.
Whilst Me2MD takes all steps to ensure that your information is stored safely and securely on its Platform and maintains confidentiality of your information, this is subject to the laws of Singapore. With the unprecedented times and the outbreak of the coronavirus and the directions, rules, circulars, laws of various Government Authorities Me2MD will be duty bound to report you to the concerned authorities in the event it is found that you are displaying any symptoms which might indicate that you are suffering from coronavirus.
Me2MD uses third party applications authorized to deal with financial transactions to process payments in a secure manner for paid services availed by you through debit card, credit card, RTGS, NEFT among others. Such Third-Party Applications may have their own terms and conditions which should be read by you before availing of their services in making payment. The same do not form part of this T&C and Me2MD is not responsible for any acts, omissions and/or commissions on the part of such third-party applications including but not limited to such third party application declining a transaction for any reason whatsoever.
In the event you have an insurance policy which covers any part of your treatment, tests, medication, consultation fee among others and such insurance policy permits the insurer to pay directly on your behalf, you undertake to authorize such insurance company to pay on your behalf to cover any amounts due from you to Me2Md. However, certain insurance policies might require you to make payment directly to Me2Md. In such circumstances, you may be required to disclose your debit/credit card number, bank account details, personal information to help identify you and/or any other information for billing and payment purpose which Me2MD will be required to disclose to third parties as and when necessary to complete the billing process. Me2MD does not store such payment details shared by you once the transaction is successfully completed and you will be asked to enter your payment details and complete the verification process every time you avail of a paid service provided by Me2MD to successfully complete the billing process. You will be solely responsible to bear any transactional fee which may or may not be charged by such third-party applications to process your payment.
Before you avail of any paid service with Me2MD you will be informed of the charges for the same including the applicable taxes which would be payable by you should you choose to proceed with such a service. Once you successfully make payment, you will receive an electronic receipt of the payment made by you after which you may avail of the service opted by you. Me2MD is not bound to provide any of the paid services to you till the payment transaction is completed and the monies received by Me2Md. All payments made can only be refunded as per the express terms contained in these Ts&Cs.
Me2Md also reserves the right to refuse any service to you and can refuse to process or cancel any payment towards any service or in the event any payment has been received from you, refund the same if no service has been offered to you without assigning any reason for the same
Me2Md owns its intellectual properties without creating any rights, title and/or interest in your favour by virtue of this Ts&Cs or otherwise. Me2MD might permit you to access and use some of its intellectual property including but not limited to contents which it has created and posted on the website such as photographs, diagrams, charts, illustrations, video clips, texts, audio clips and other material on the website with the written approval of Me2Md. Any use of any of Me2MD’s Intellectual Property without its prior written consent is strictly prohibited. In the event of any unauthorized use of its Intellectual property, Me2MD reserves its rights to initiate legal proceedings including criminal proceedings and/or any other recourse available to Me2Md under the law in force.
You assure and consent that you shall not use designs, material, content, graphics, etc. which are same or similar to the Intellectual property of Me2MD. You will not decipher, recreate, decompile, recompile, duplicate, reverse engineer and/or reproduce any part or portion of the website or its content either on your own or through the use of any software, application, tool or any other device including but not limited to spiders, robots, avatars, any tools to copy, navigate, search or in any manner which can harm Me2MD or the website or set up a competing business or product.
The website might also contain links to other sites operated by third parties and/or Intellectual property of third party/parties including but not limited to advertisements, images, links, information, news, blogs, video clips, audio clips, messages, and other material which Me2MD is authorized to access. Such intellectual property and website as the case may be belongs to the respective owners. Such third-party websites are not in the control of Me2MD and is not governed by this T&C and if you choose to access such third-party website it will be at your sole risk as to the cost and consequences thereof. You are therefore advised to read their terms and conditions and other material before availing of any of their services. Any use of such third party’s Intellectual Property without its prior written consent is strictly prohibited. In the event of any unauthorized use of its Intellectual property, such third party might take legal action against you as it deems fit for which Me2MD will not be responsible in any way.
You understand that Me2Md is not responsible or liable for any consequential, incidental, special loss, harm, injury, or damage in any manner by the use of the Platform even if you claim to have intimated us of the same under any circumstances whatsoever.
Me2MD collects information which has been shared by you and also from cookie files. This is governed by the Privacy Policy which is deemed to be incorporated with these Ts&Cs. Me2MD recommends that you read the Privacy Policy along with these terms and conditions which collectively forms the Ts&Cs.
Me2MD shall not be liable to you for any unavailability, delay, crash, of the Platform, delay in, non-performances of Services caused due to circumstances beyond the control of Me2MD including but not limited to act of God, Act of Government, act of any regulatory authority, flood, fire, earthquake, power outrage, internet disruption, telecommunication disruption, war, civil unrest, acts of terror, strikes, riots, cyber-attack, labour problems, industrial disputes, epidemics, pandemics, medical and/or health outbreaks such as or similar to the Coronavirus, acts of any third parties with regard to the services provided on the website.

These Ts&Cs and the Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. If any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Ts&Cs and the Agreement including but not limited to the interpretation, application, or disagreement regarding any of the terms of the Agreement, you and Me2MD shall, at the first instance attempt to resolve such dispute through mutual discussion. In the event the dispute or differences cannot be resolved through mutual discussion within 1 month of mutual discussion being entered into, then either you or Me2MD may refer the dispute for resolution to a sole arbitrator who shall be appointed with the consent of Me2MD and you. The Arbitration shall be governed by the provisions of the Arbitration Act (Cap. 10) including any statutory modifications thereof for the time being in force. The Arbitration proceedings will be conducted in the English language in Singapore which shall be the seat of arbitration. The cost of the arbitration will be initially paid jointly by both parties in equal share. The award of the arbitrator shall be binding on both parties. Subject to the above, the courts in Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any and all disputes arising out of these Ts&Cs and the Agreement.
